Since 2011, DC Tech Meetup has put this city’s founders, investors, and builders in one room — 96+ editions. This is your open invitation to experience the best of DC Tech.

We have two more nights this fall, and in 2027 this becomes something considerably bigger: more energy, a bigger stage, and a few things we’re not ready to announce yet. We’re looking for one person to help us run it and build it.

Run the nights. You’d produce DC Tech Meetup end to end — the venue, the run-of-show, the demo lineup, the speakers, the event staff, and everything that happens between load-in and last call. You’d take care of our sponsors, help shape what each edition feels like, and lend a hand on our other DCTAV events, including summits and executive gatherings.

More than that, you’d help us build the next version of this. We have the audience, the history, and the ideas. We need someone with the energy to help carry them.

Someone dynamic, engaging, and genuinely good with people — the kind who makes a room feel welcoming five minutes after walking into it. Someone who loves live events and the particular thrill of a night that lands. Someone who cares about DC’s tech and innovation community and wants a hand in where it goes next.

You don’t need a decade of experience. You need enthusiasm, follow-through, and real interest in building something.

You'd work directly with the organizers, alongside our team that handles design and social, on a platform that automates most of the busywork. Your job is the room.

Several times a year you’re at the center of a night with hundreds of DC’s founders, investors, and operators — running it, meeting everyone, building a network that compounds. Few seats in DC tech are better than this one, and you’d be helping shape what it becomes.

Contract, paid a flat fee per event, with growth as the program and your role expand. Based in DC — our events are in person.
